I started off my flyfishing with one many years ago, I have now succumbed to a couple of "Limestone" rods from Bakewell Flyfishing Shop. As you say they come alive with a silk line. I love using mine but I do not use them each time I go although this year I am going to fish the River Dove more which is better suited to cane.
Looking forward to your adventures this year.
Stay safe and best wished.
ColinBaslowfisherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08054387944447368004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5459904654078487715.post-77010480976951396972021-02-12T13:20:26.430+00:002021-02-12T13:20:26.430+00:00Well I agree with a lot of that . Why, because the virus keeps mutating. Another reason we will continue to deal with the horrible disease is a lot of the population will not follow the rules and regulations-----and a lot of individuals will never get the vaccine. In fact, some of my relatives refuse to take the vaccine because they claim that the virus is no more than the flu. It's difficult to get the population to take this virus seriously. Thank goodness my wife and I will be getting the vaccine next Tuesday and the follow up in 3 weeks.
In the meantime let's all try to stay safe and hope like you said that this year is better---thanks for sharingBill Trussellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15351692272817692157noreply@blogger.com
